It's been a long time since I've had much to post about. With the pandemic happening, I went into my favorite - introvert mode. It's been great. But every now and then I still need to get out of the house to keep my sanity. One Saturday I decided it would be fun to play tourist in Austin. I went down to South Congress and walked through a flea market, enjoyed the candy shop, and just the sights of the city.
We even ended the day at the Hulu Hut on the lake for a gorgeous spring day meal. For once it was the kind of weather where you want to be outside.
I love Austin. It's definitely become my home. I hate the infernal heat, and I wish the landscape had mountains and 4 seasons. Change those two minor things and for me it would be the perfect city. But even with the heat and lack of mountains, 14 years later I'm still here. Still loving the city.
