Greenwich England

I've been hung up on London for the last few years. I don't exactly know why I love it as much as I do, but I can't help it. It doesn't help that there are now direct flights offered from where I live to directly there. I'm one flight away from being in my favorite country at the moment. So dangerous.

Needless to say, the 4 days I got to stay there this last March went by far too quickly. As great trips usually do. For now I'm trying to finagle a way to get back there sometime this fall. So far the outlook does not look promising. If you would like to donate to the cause, feel free.






Meanwhile, one of those four days was spent wandering around Greenwich Village. It was so gorgeous. The naval academy buildings are still used, and offer free courses to the general public. Plus the architecture and location is beautiful.

After walking through an open green park to the top of a hill, you find an observatory, complete with the prime meridian. Yes, we waited in line to take our picture. It was kind of amazing. Did I mention that I love England?
