Every year Austin does the traditional Christmas time trail of lights for the two - three weeks leading up to Christmas. The night before it opens to the public, they do a 5k fun run. It's become my little tradition to do this every year - mostly for the t-shirt - but also because it's quite fun to run through all the lights. This was the third year I've done it.
As I normally go to this event to run it, I usually don't lug around my camera. This year however, the week before Christmas I went with a group of friends to walk through and enjoy it. For once I actually remembered to take my camera and take a few pictures of the scene. Until next year . . .
I would love to do a 5K through this. It's beautiful!
